Unhappy had my hair cut and I hate it

Decided on a whim to have my hair cut whilst in town (just below the shoulders). The hairdresser has cut it to chin length and it looks awful. She tried to dry it straight and I went straight home and did it curly. Am never cutting my hair again!!

before cut

After cut

my style
Hair 2bM

As of 6/1/10 am trying the CG method!

Shalaa, you look so sad with your streight hair. You look back to your perky self with your short curly hair.

I think it looks nice, now that you've re-styled it curly!

Even though you may not like the cut, your waves still look very healthy and shiny! It looks great, so don't worry about it!

You better work that cut! It brings out your cheekbones and make you appear a bit more youthful.

While straight, you could sweep the bangs far to the side and add a lot of volume and you're good to go. I love the cut!

Your hair was pretty at the longer length, but I love the shorter look done curly!

O so sad! I like the before better! Here's some growing potion for you! After too many mediocre cuts, I don't go to salons anymore. I cut my own hair!

2c/3a-M-ii porous, good elasticity, APL, dark brown with a silver lining. Biggest enemy: frizz!

I usually get one good professional style a year, a fantastic man in downtown Newnan, GA does it for me. One day i needed a trim, which i'd usually do myself but didn't have time before a wedding. I asked for her to trim up the ends a bit and she giggled at my strait underneath. then proceeded to trim my layers that i've been working on growing out a little, by simply re layering my hair. now i feel like i put a diamond shaped helmet on my head. My strait underneath is all hanging out the bottom and i've got too much volume in my top layer. Hoping to get it fixed next week with someone who knows what to do with my pattern.

I've very sorry the lady tried to straiten your hair. short and curly is a good look for you. I'm a fan of bangs on curly hair. I currently have thick blunt bangs.

started CG on 6/25/12.
  • 2c with a strait underneath
  • normal elasticity on top, none on the underneath
  • Fine side of Normal
  • Thick hair
  • Poriosity is a mystery. I think its all over the place.

I think it looks good. I'm sure it'll get back to your original length by the end of the year or sooner.
Mostly 3c and lovin' my curls

This is not a fashion trend, it's not a statement, it's pride for who we are and what we look like. And that is where our true beauty shines.
