Well done! I think SL/APL is one of the toughest to reach, so the rest should come easy
That's reassuring, cause I just reached APL too (about 2 months ago) and I want to get to WL but I was like geez APL took forever...how long will BSL take? Or MBL? I just try to forget my hair exists basically so it'll grow quicker. Lol
Apple now owns my soul...sent from my iPhone.
Big Chop: 11/25/09
Cottony/fluffy, medium/coarse, high density & porosity
I don't really do anything thing special to get it straight besides check the 10 forecast lol. If it looks like it'll rain alot I won't straighten it or I'll keep a scarf and umbrella on deck. My straightening regi is as follows
Shampoo with a sulfate
Deep condit with heat
Rinse thoroughly and apply my leave in which is usually Lacio Lacio
I applied a little bit of grapeseed oil as a heat protectant before blow drying
I blow dry with a round brush and flat iron on about 370. I also flatiron very small sections at a time and use the comb chasing technique on each section. Doing this i notice that i only need to do 1-3 passes on each section. Too much heat is bad but not enough and I'll just be wasting my time trying to get my 4 type hair straight. And to stave off reversion I only use cream leave ins and oils when it's straight.
congrats! you and your hair looks great. my mini goal is bsl when curly im almost there though i find it hard to measure cause how curlY it is
my hair: 3b, high porosity, high density and coarse hair (i think i finally figured that all out)
