Growing out my eyebrows

I'm growing out my eyebrows and it's soo frustrating! They are naturally thick and shapeless but after many years of over plucking and a recent threading gone too thin I'm trying to thicken them up a bit. I highly doubt they'll ever be what they were. I wish my mom had taken me to get them professionally done like I had begged as a kid so they would have been properly shaped the first time. Anyway I use castor oil. Rogaine burns my eyebrow skin and causes my brow bones and eye lids to swell so I immediately stopped using it. I noticed the right one is growing in faster than the left. From afar they still look overly thin but up really close you can see black stubbles in random spots. They are long enough and dark enough where concealed and makeup won't cover them so I'm stuck with sloppy eyebrows. I'm hoping by next year they'll look normal for my birthday. I'm just worried that I'll go through all this trying to grow them and looking bad and then I have to end up returning to the ultra thin bc the spots I need to grow in in order to reshape them won't grow back. Has this eve happened to anyone? The whole filling in with powders and pencils while it grows back looks awful on me. When it rains it washes off my face or when I sweat so it looks even more weird if I try filling them in. I hope they grow back.

I have a problem with brows too, from time to time I overtweeze and then need to grow it back, I swear to myself every time I won't do it again, but I just love tweezing, so it's a never ending cycle. I found something that helps to make it grow faster. Silk Naturals sells something to make lashes grow (called Eye Lash Conditioning Gel), and it definitely works (and totally safe to use, no stinging, no blurred vision, no side effects at all), so I thought why not try on brows too. I read reviews of other people who said it works on brows. Also I take a bunch of supplements for hair growth, so don't know for sure if it's the gel or supps, or combo of both, but they do grow out faster now.

I have spots in my eye brows that have never grown back in. :( I pulled almost all of them out and my eyelashes. :( my eyelashes are still missing a tiny section, but I think i'm the only person that notices. lol. I just fill in my bald spot on my eyebrow with maybelline define a brow in Dark Blond. I got a shade lighter than my eyebrows so it doesn't look drawn on. Also apply the pencil before your foundation and powder for a more subtle appearance.

You could try castor oil. I heard it helps on growing longer and thicker eyelashes, eyebrows, and even hair if you apply it on... You'll see many people have tried it as growth aids, if you look them up.. I don't think it hurts to try. The worse you could probably get is oily hair. No promises, though.

I just bought castor oil today for this. We'll see how it works.

Please tell me how it works out for you. I'm trying it, too with coconut oil for my hair and just castor oil for my eyelashes.

I will. I applied my first application 2 days ago. I just don't know if I should apply it everyday or what. Also I think when I run out of this I'm going to buy some more of the Jamaica black castor oil to try on them. I just ran out because I've been using it on my daughter's edges. That's the reason I bought castor oil for my eyebrows. That JBCO was amazing!

Oh, I'm using the Walgreens one and
I haven't tried the JBCO yet. I wonder if they work the same.. Have you tried both? Are you just using it for your eyebrows? I've heard that it helped others fill their eyebrows in.. Only used it on my scalp and eyelashes, so no experience with that, but I hope it works for you!

I bought mine at this herbal shop. I will let you know via thread if my eyebrows start to fill in.

I've been using Careprost (generic Latisse) to help with my thinning eyebrows. I thought it was working for me, but the trouble is that I either forget to apply it at night or I am just too lazy to do it. I am not a good example, but many people have had success using it regularly and I intend to do better with it for myself.

So after applying the castor oil as well as a Vitamin E oil mix and this Vitamin E lotion mix for the last several months, my eyebrows have completely grown back in. I've been so reluctant to shape them up because I've been afraid of them thinning again, but it's time. They are sooo bushy! But I don't mind it so much anymore and do not plan to let them get as thin as they were...
