Long hair care

Long hair care-imageuploadedbycurltalk1347398438.285565.jpg Long hair care-imageuploadedbycurltalk1347398452.900600.jpg my hair is pretty long but the longer it gets my curls are not as curly any tips to keep a tight curl without having to cut?
Its pretty common for the weight to pull out some of the curl with length. Adding some shorter layers might help some of the top layers curl up more. If you really don't want to cut it at all, you could try a curl enhancer layered under a hard hold gel. But you have to careful if your hair is fine (can't tell what your hair properties are) because too much product could also weigh down the curls. Plopping has also helped me keep my curls tighter, if you don't already do that. You could also diffuse some to help set the curl.
2c/3a, botticelli/wavy/'swavy (huh?)
fine, dense, normal porosity/elasticity, dry climate

My favorite brands are Kinky Curly, As I am, Curly Kinks, Curl Junkie, and Darcy's Botanicals. Also love sealing with oils (loving argan oil right now) and styling with jelly products (KCCC is my current favorite). Mostly trying to keep it simple!

I am currently pregnant and I'm not cutting my hair for a vow I did unto the Lord dedicating my baby so I'm trying to figure out other ways to maintain healthy long hair till I cut it when the baby is born. I will have to try that hard hold gel underneath. My hair is really thick course low porosity hair.
Congratulations on your pregnancy and I think that's a great dedication to make. As I said before, I would just try something with a little more hold, and maybe some styling techniques to encourage curl (scrunch n pump, plopping, diffusing, etc.).

Your hair is so so beautiful! You could try skip curling the parts that don't curl as well. I don't see it in this picture though, you look beautiful!
Curl Type- 3a, some 2,

CO Wash- Sauve Conditioner or Loreal sulfate free cleansing conditioner
RO- Generic Biolage Conditioning Balm
LI- Kinky Curly Knot Today Leave in conditioner
Styler- Curly Hair Solutions Curl Keeper
Gel- Garnier Fructis Pure and Clean
That's pretty normal. You can have length or curl. You usually don't get to keep both.
Kiva! Microfinance works.

Med/Coarse, porous curly.
Protein treatments can help curls tighten up, but since your hair is low porosity, I'm not sure if it will react well to it.

Amla powder (mixed with water into a paste) is also said to tighten the curl, but over time leaves a cool brown tint on the hair.

Thanks everyone. Amla powder where do I find that? My hair seems to like protein. Today I got pretty good curl definition but I have a lot of hair. So when it's wet it seems like I get product all over but then when it dries i definitely didn't any recommendations for that
