I'm always down for a good challenge! I am currently transitioning (10 mo "} ) w/o BC. Rocking twist out have been my thing for about a month now...any other effortless styles that I can try that require no heat? I have 4B/C texture, that I can tell.

I'm having issues with this challenge. I haven't straightened since August 16th. I'm going on 2 months. But there's a girl at work now with long straight hair, and it just makes me wanna straighten mine to see the length so bad. :/

LOL...you're so cute! Well if you're serious about the challenge then you can't give in. However, I told myself that if I get the urge to straighten it then I will since I hardly ever straighten my hair. I also know that straightening my hair doesn't take away any curl whatsoever once I wet it. I also feel like it makes me like my curls more because I start to miss them when it is straight. Just hang in there Ms. Pretty Curls.

Ah thank you beautiful! That helped. I'm staying with this challenge. I'll just check length while stretching when it's wet. No flat iron needed. Ima stay stronggg, lol.

Can I join? I have no clue why I began flat ironing my hair in like 5th grade... But now I am in 11th grade and my birthday on the 10th of last month I turned 16 and just began using absolutely no heat at all. I think I'll try to make this a life long challenge ... What do you guys think??

I believe summer. I'm doing it til February which would make it 6 months for me since i don't straighten my hair in warm weather!

Yay! I'm having withdrawal issues, i feel like my hair is getting longer, and it's been over 2 months since i straightened last so i wanna see the lengthhhh...ugh...but I've been way longer so i know i can do it. My goal is to only straighten twice a year and for the past couple of years, I've succeeded.
