Gel- BRHG
Holy grail combo Feb 2013: ISO Bouncy Creme with BRHG on top!

I think I'm going to straighten my hair in November.....that would be more than 6 months since I've last straightened it.

Okay here is my starting pic FINALLY. I will post another one in 3 months. It's a little uneven but I'm getting a trim soon. This is actually the healthiest my hair has ever looked. I want it to be APL when curly hopefully by the end of 2013.

I'll be straightening my hair towards the end of this month. I guess straightening it. :/ i wish i could use less heat and do the hot roller thing but i don't know how or what to buy to do that. But it'll be 3 months since i last straightened it, and I'm gonna record the length and take pictures, and then straighten again in February, 3 months from now. I'm doing this to help see the exact length while taking hairfinity. I'll be taking hairfinity starting when i straighten. So yeah that's my update!

I actually flat ironed my hair in October and that had been the first time in 8 months. I really needed to flat iron it to see the progress and also to trim the ends (which I can’t really do while it is curly)
It had been the longest time I had ever gone without using heat in my life! (Before that I use to flat iron almost every day!) I didn’t even use a blow dryer. For me it was easiest to do in the hot humid summer months when my hair didn’t stay straight during the heat waves anyway. Even when I went on vacation I didn’t take any heat styling tools for the first time ever, all I packed was a heat protectant for the sun, my shampoo and leave ins.
It made a HUGE difference in the amount of growth I retained; my hair was 5 inches longer after those 8 months and reached my waist so I am definitely ready to do another no heat challenge.

Nevermind, doing it today. I started hairfinity lastnight. I don't wanna wait til the end of the month to get my before length, just in case hairfinity gives me growth inbetween. So I'm straightening today to see the length and then not straightening again til February.

It's time for me to straighten my hair.....just landed back in L.A. from Texas. On the flight back I was planning my hair routine....I'm going to use Aubrey Organics blue green algae conditioning mask then AO Island naturals conditioner and maybe followed with Queen Helene cholesterol hot oil treatment then let my hair air dry then straighten it. My hair will be shorter since I cut about 2 inches off October 25th. It was in such dire need of a trim. I'll post pics tomorrow.

Definitely don't forget! I just straightened mine. Then got 2 inches off. So now it's about 2 inches from waist length now. Sigh. But i rather it be healthy and shorter than long and dead on the ends.

Here's my hair after 7 months without straightening it. I cut 2+ inches off October 25.....my hair looks so short now but its definitely healthier. I can't wait to get back Curly.....especially since I'm a serious workout buff.....my hair gets sweaty quickly.
