Including some with a piece of hair pulled straight - can't believe that it has actually grown (well, it has been almost a year since my last ultra short pixie cut). My hair feels super short, and I didn't realize that it actually has an inverted bob shape!

Still some left over dye lurking at the ends, but my hairdresser (last cut was in the winter, to get rid of the mullet) said that the ends are soft, not particularly damaged, so to leave them alone for now.

So here is a photo showing 11 MONTHS (ack!) of growth, with only one cut (the back). Thank goodness for CG method, as my curls are exactly the kind that I had always wanted (but didn't always have) - big, shiny loops ....except in the morning.....

3a? 3b? Fine, dense. Porous.
Finally sulfate free. Avoiding silicones.
want2bcurly: I haven't mastered scarves! I do have one headband that a)fits b)isn't too childish and found it this helped a lot. My go-to piece of equipment is the gymnastics barrette - those snap in flat barrette that are useless for holding much hair? Great for pinning up a wee bit of bangs and allowing me to see.

Sometimes, my hair is so upright that the barrette can be found floating, like it a boat on waves, on a portion of hair ha! Other days, I find the occasional bobby pin only the next day, when conditioning my hair

Is it just me or does anyone else have a disconnect between what we see in the mirror, vs what we see of ourselves in photos? I am always picturing my hair as very short, no style, very round. But, when I take a photo, I love what I am seeing! This makes no sense!

your hair is looking great! oh i cant wait for the day when im that long...as for the disconnect. well, i look in the mirror and hate it, then take a pic and hate it even more.. i must add tho that with the scarves(kind of gypsy looking ) i do get compliments so i think i have a disconnect period. and i see something totally different that other people. all i want is a inverted bobish looking cut just below chin at the longest point. 3 years later.....
