Knots in my hair

I'm on the next level of my hair growth journey. I have been wearing a TWA since I did my BC. Everything was going great until about a month ago. Now I'm starting to see a BUNCH of knots. They are everywhere. I guess I have to start protective styling. Any ideas on how to deal with these knots? I also heard that wearing a afro is not good for growing your hair. Is this true?
People call those "Fairy Knots" but you might be using too much protein. Stop with the protein conditioners (usually marketed as a strengthener) and just use moisturizing conditioners at least for 45 days.
Afro is the fastest way to grow the hair because you're constantly picking it which massages the scalp many times per day.

The mistake people make is they don't moisturize their Afro. Dry hair breaks.

Yeah lol keep a bottle of Afro-sheen and always spray it before picking it out so its not dry. But please be very gentle when doing this because you don't want to yank too hard on the hair.
Thank you all for the help.
