Default Help

My hair is just a mess right now, I don't even know where to start, its breaking off and falling out. I've done some damage to it yeah (a demi color, clip in extensions, straightened it one day, curled with iron a couple times.) But, come on, I don't think it should be acting like this. I need help, what can/should I do? It could be stress or seasonal I'm just so frustrated...

Sent from my DROID X2 using CurlTalk App with accidental obvious autocorrect errors throughout.

*my moon's in libra too lol

Maybe you could try aphogee's 2 min keratin reconstructing protein treatment, if your hair is sufficiently moisturized already. Or, rinsing with black tea reduces shedding and breakage.

Is your hair chemically treated or not?

When I put a semi-permanent colour in my hair 2 months ago it damn near killed my hair. I had to use strictly moisturising shampoo and condish (no protein!) plus lots of DT's and now PT followed by DT once every two weeks. Plus follow good techniques and use high quality products. It is finally returning to normal....I think it is a good idea to either list your products used here, so experienced curlies can help you, and also maybe reassess your hair type and the techniques you use? For me, technique was part of the problem, and when I began doing supersoaker method, my hair improved more every time I washed it...

TECHNIQUES LINKS: SuperSoaker,Spritz&Condish,Plopping,Frizz,Clipping IceQueen, etc

S-shaped hair with corkscrew ends. My hair is even more confused than me ;p
My hair officially hates protein Once a month is enough!
Currently a fan of TiGi products, (rock on, TiGi Curlesque styling creme!) but that will soon change - I am a self-avowed product junkie! Yay!
BIG fan of supersoaker method - thanks Rudeechick!

Anything could be the cause - but we can't help unless you tell us what you're using. It sounds to me like protein overload, but I'm not going to recommend anything unless I'm sure.
