Default 1 year after

A year ago I stopped using heat on my hair. And it worked! When my hair is soaking wet, it comes to my bra strap.
My next goal is reaching waist length!

Here are 3 pictures of my hair flat ironed, one year ago, and now!

Hi. Congratulations on your achieving healthier hair. I'm aiming for waist length too! I'm currently at BSL.
do you do anything to make it grow faster? I'm a VERY impatient person
I can't wait for my hair to grow longer.

Let's reach waist length together haha!
I use jamaican castor oil, and it really works for my hair! Ofcourse a lot of oils are good for your hair. Every 2 weeks I do a deep threatment. I use Kerastase Oleo mask for that. I won't recommend it, it's very expensive. In the shower I massage my scalp and that works too!

I hope I helped you this way, and if you want to now something just ask!

(sorry for my English, I'm dutch haha)

I would love to do this together! I use castor oil too. Two to three days a week. Sometimes I use mustard oil, more that it's winter . I do deep treatments with pure olive and coconut oil mixed in a 1:1 ratio. I really dont need protein treatments but I do them once a month or two.
I noticed that bending and flipping my hair over while I co wash, makes my hair grow faster..also I give myself good head massages when I use oil

Hi,
great to see your achievements.
I stopped using a lot of heat on my hair and it helped a lot! My hair is waist length now and my layers have almost grown out. My hair has definitely grown a lot faster since I stopped using so much heat and got all the proper products and started doing all the right things.
I hope to get to waist length too but no longer, at the length I am at now it's a lot of hair to manage.
