Beautiful! You look so exotic and your hair is so healthy and shiny! Here is mine. i trimmed it and touched up my layers. I really want some bangs, like side ones to frame my face and add volume in the front but idk if i trust myself to do that..lol

You look so cute. I really like your hair and outfit in the 3rd pic. If you did that good of a job with the layers, bangs should be a piece of cake. I say go for it!!!

Thank you so much! I love your hair as well. I think I will tonight, I really want them and know my hair better than a hairdresser...so why not! Thanks!

Your hair looks sooooo good. The curls are perfect spiralss. Can't wait for my heat damage to be completely gone so mine can be like that again.

I had a question though...my hair, it used to dry and i would scrunch out the crunch and it would be big and curly and spiraled and pretty all on it's own...now it's normally frizzy and it won't get big on it's own. I have to really mess with it and use hairspray to make it big if i let it airdry. And the curls aren't so defined. The only way i can get my hair to look like it did in those pictures now is to diffuse? Anyone know maybe why?

I just don't want heat damage from having to diffuse every other day..

I have never diffused my hair before, but hopefully I can be of some help.

However, IMO I don't think you'll get too much heat damage from using a low/medium heat setting..I wouldn't use high.

Also, maybe you should think about using a heat protectant w/o cones? If that isn't possible, use a low poo w/ coco bentaine as the surfractant to remove whatever cone buildup .

Honestly, I think you should be fine. Just keep taking extra good care of your hair.

Hi there,

I would also like to join. My longest curl is BSL streched right know and I actually want it waist lenght (if it still looks good/full in that lenght). I guess that will take me about 2/3 years? I grow about 0.7 inch a month I guess.

I'm also taking multivitamin (with biotin in it) and MSM for about a month now. But instead of strong nails, my nails are very prone to break last week (while they used to be quite strong). What is happening? Anybody had the same experience?

I always use a heat protectant because I'm paranoid lol. But yeah I'd hope not. I'd only do it twice a week probably. But thanks, i believe so too.

I would like to join this challenge, if I may. My hair is shoulder length curly and about APL stretched with the longest layer BSL. I'm sure I won't reach waist length this year, so my goal is to get as close to MBL as I can. My hair is now at a length where I feel I can actually enjoy twist and twist outs. I'm thinking about doing mini twists soon as a protective style.

Hopefully! Be proud of what you've got! I'd love to see.
I wanted long curly hair...but my curls just look better and healthier and way curlier while shorter. So I'll just have to settle. And I'm fine with that.

I recently took a picture of my hair one day and realized it had grown so I figured I would share my progress.

Before: right after my devacut (around Jan maybe late Jan can't remember)

After: I took this last week (Tho I have to cut the ends again. They're starting to look a little dry since they are old damaged hair.)

Hoping to get WL before the end of the year.
