Others say that the change in curl pattern is only temporary and after a while it will revert. Honestly I wouldn't mind my curls loosening just a tiny bit. Since goin CG it seems that my curls are getting tighter. I was more concerned about the color. Ive also read that is your hair is already dark the redness won't be noticeable unless you stand in the sun. Anyway I figured I cound try it once and see what happens. How long have you been using henna and how much does it loosen your curls?

About a year ago I had been hennaing for about 2 yrs at every couple months. I did notice minor loosening but also easier detangling and strength. I haven't done it since bc I don't want to mess up my apartment. In this break from henna my hair has returned to normal, the loosening is not permenant if you don't keep it up.

It's right at the top of my bra strap length while curly in the baxk and resting above my chest while curly in the front, sorry for the lack of pictures while it's curly, the ones i have are old or bad pictures to show length and while straight, like it is right now its around waist length.

Your Hair Is Long , And Pretty

My Hair Curly, Is A Little Bit Passed My Shoulders From The Back And Shoulder Length In The Front , And Straightened Its Armpit Length , lol But Months Back I Went To A Salon And They Messed Up My Hair Bad Like I Have 2 Layers And It Doesn't Look Right When I Leave It Natural .
But I Want My Hair To Be Waist Length When It's Curly

Me too! I have two separate layers that make my curly hair look choppy. :/

I just inform myself on my hair. Since no one i know has my hair. This website helped me a looot as far as health and nice looking curls. And Hairfinity and patience and taking good care helped with growth.

So here's my length check ladies...

The first one is forth day hair from yesterday and the rest are from my wash and go from today.

I want to reach WL stretched and MBL curly by the end of the year.

No split ends and my last trim was in October ( I had 3 inches trimmed off)

I'm doing biweekly sugar scalp exfoliations, rubbing tea tree oil & olive oil on my scalp and pineappling before bed, bagging at least once a week and protective styling at least 3 days out of the week.

My hair is about 3-4 inches away from a good waist length. I'll be cutting about an inch off soon because the ends are getting scraggly. I have barely any shrinkage so I should be to waist length by August I think. I don't use any heat on it any more and it has been growing faster than usual (probably average for everyone else though).
