2013 TRUE waist length challenge?
 

I could pass for waist length while stretched or straightened right now. But i want it to be hanging waist length while straight. Not "oh it's close or oh yeah i see it's at your waist." But "oh your hair IS waist length or past it." I wanna be there by February 20th, when i straighten my hair. If not, my next goal will be by April. But i realllly want it by February. Anyone have this same goal of TRUE waist length? By anytime this year?

So this is the 2013 challenge? :) I'm hoping for MBL next year but lately I've been getting 1 inch of growth a month so I might even make it to waist length.

Yesss! I didn't quite make it to true waist length by 2012 in my opinion so I'm shooting for 2013. I love seeing your progress and your hair is so healthy. I believe you'll definitely be able to do it. :)

I think I can make waist length by September 2013. If my hair keeps up at this pace.

Now you know I gotta get in on this one! I'm about 2-3 inches away from WL. I think I can make it by spring. But I'm really trying to get to armpit length curly. But with my 3c curls I think I can safely assume that wont be happening 2013 :-/

I knew you would! Lol. But me too, i rather long hair curly, but it just shrinks and shrinks so..armpit length curly is awhile off..we'll see though! Goodluck ladiesss. <3

Me! I am about 2-3 inches away also. I should be there by August, but I will most likely be there before then. I'm also straightening for the first time then, so we will see!

@DepressedCurls Yes, that will be my 4-year mark of growing my natural hair and my 3-year mark being completely natural. Thank you! :)

Hair is BSL stretched, shooting for the waist by next fall... I'm in. This was flat ironed hair for a baptism today:Attachment 28452

I only flat iron once per season, so ill repost any progress this spring:) about 4 inches to go?

I'm DEFINITELY in this. I was MBL 2 months ago, but due to my hair stylist getting carried away with her pair of scissors; I'm back to APL. Now worries though, with the proper care I'll reach my waist length goal within the next year. (:

I'm going to be following a STRICT protective styling routine switching off from buns to braid for the next 2 months. Anyone want to partner up?

I'm glad you're all in and dedicated! Lovely hair, I'd say about four inches to go as well. :)

Yasssss. I'm in. I've been wearing buns all day erryday and my hair's JUST above BSL. I was aiming for MBL in 2013 but hey. Dream big.

I'm definitely trying to grow out my hair this year, but no way in heck would I get waist length (it's very short right now).

My goal is shoulder-length curly this year, so armpit-length stretched? Of course I'd love to get past that, but we'll see how it goes (I still trim every 6mo or so to keep the shape looking decent).

@Depressed Curls I'm terrible at braids tooo but I'm going to keep trying until I'm an expert! I don't give up easily, but my buns are more forgiving.

I'm going to start bunning on the 21ist after my boyfriend goes back to camp Pendleton. He likes my hair loose, which isn't helping my case.
