Not sure about growth but great for moisture, A little goes a long way. I recently realized that jojoba oil works much better for me ... Super shine !!!

i agree, its great for adding moisture, my hair loves the stuff! i also use it to seal my ends, as a leave in treatment and i also mix it with my condish. i only use conditioner and oil. its one of my favs. (i have a ever growing collection of hair oils )
i dont know from personal use if it helps with growth, but i have heard that it does help with growth. you would have to message it on your scalp to see if it works for you.

I have read in many sites that it aids with growth thats why i always mix it with castor oil for scalp treatment. I never monitor to see if thats actually true but it makes my hair fell great and Its never done me harm thats for sure

I used it for a long time...I personally didn't notice a huge difference in how my hair felt unless I mixed it with other oils and sat under my dryer attachment cap. As far as hair growth, I don't think it made my hair grow any faster I think my growth was due to a number of things I am doing but I wouldn't give too much credit to the coconut oil.

Today I washed my hair and put in lots of coconut oil. maybe 1/3 cup! My hair drank it up. I added conditioner over it and my curls are really defined and there is no poof. I usually end up with a rosana-rosana-dana hair do if I dont mix the right products. Im really impressed with this experiment. Also my hair dried in 2 hours when it usally takes all day.

yeah i never have to use a styler anymore with coconut oil. in fact im trying to ween my hair off stylers and just use coconut oil and a leave in. But for growth. coconut oil saved my hair and its so moisturizing for it so I feel like my hair has been getting longer because its so healthy now.

It's Possible

I've been natural since Oct 2010. I toyed with so many products thinking it would be better for my hair or it give me length. In actuality time is what I needed. Growth is one of the benefits of coconut oil, this is true. I have used coconut oil for the last two years. My hair was hard (literally, but this could be because of my overuse of EcoStyler) but with coconut oil it felt much softener. I recommend getting one of this application bottles ( for hair dye) and putting it directly on your scalp. See what happens!

I don't know if it actually has made my hair grow, but, it prevents split ends and breakage, so if you look at it that way, it does help with growth. Mainly I love it because of how moisturizing it is, and how soft, smooth, and shiny it makes my hair. I like to use it as a pre-wash but lately I've been using it to seal and it's amazing, my ends have never been happier. Also when I use it as a pre-wash I often slather it all over my scalp too, and surprisingly, that had made my scalp LESS oily. It's just the best😍

Yes use coconut oil is the oil that will be absorbed by your hair and it promotes hair growth. Do more research on it
