trust me, it is. it's quite fine & my whole ponytail when my hair was BSL was barely 2". glad it doesn't look that thin tho!

Can't wait to see your picture. (:

With a whole bunch of gel, I finally got it. I wish it was more polished.

Just wondering how everyone is progressing on the challenge! I dont have an update picture at the moment (been super busy with school and work) but I will try and take one soon. Id have to say my hair has come a loong way since starting the bunning. It was kind of challenging at first because I dont really care for my hair pulled back and my bun was so tiny. But with all the weeks of no heat and keeping my hair up i can definitely tell it is much fuller than when i started, my bun looks pretty decent but with shrinkage i cant really tell much of a difference on wet hair. I'm going to keep this up though!

Can someone explain to me the bun challenge ? My hair is shoulder length curly mid chest straight .. I have a mix between 3B and 3C .. Typical Biracial hair.. I'm also new to this site and not sure how to use it ! I'm getting my ends clipped Thursday and I'm going to attempt to not straighten my hair or use heat until it is mid-back!

You basically just keep your hair up and off your shoulders so usually in a bun or any updo or ps really

Hi curlies.
I am so interested in this challenge but I have few questions.
Why do we have to put our hair up in ponytails or buns? Does it help grow hair faster? I mean cant we just leave it down?
Also I have noticed my hair end tend to feel rough and super dry after a day with hair in a bun, what can be the reason of this?
Also I would love to see your progresses. Kissies

Here's this weekend - 3 months since last post I quoted: Still putting it up most days, styling maybe 1x a week.

Hi, I was wondering if it is too late to join this challenge? I've been warpath chopping my hair randomly for years and right now it's almost APL when stretched. I recently learned how to do senegalese twists thanks to youtube. I will take a picture of my hair on Friday (wash day) and post it and post another pic of my hair either twisted/braided which is my new go to protective style on Saturday or Sunday.

I want to join I'm only 1c/2a/2b, depending on if I style it or not. But I want to start wearing it up every day because I've been too worried about growing it out. I just need to forget about it for a while. I'm at collarbone length right now.
