Default Baggy Method

I love the baggy method. It adds so much Moisture. My hair needs and loves moisture. Has anyone seen growth using this method?

The baggy method means that you put oil on your hair (I use olive oil), then put a plastic cap on your head & let it sit overnight. It worked for me too.

I have only used a leave in conditioner. I guess I should try an oil.

Olive oil is a penetrating oil & will allow moisture into your hair. It will also make it shine. (Added bonus) however, when you get it from the store, go to a specialty store or health food store to ensure that it is 100% pure. I have been told that it may say on the bottle that it has other additives. (If you get it from Walmart) so check your bottle.

Put on a shower cap plus a microfibre towel turban if you wish. Olive is not the easiest to cleanse out because it is thick, coconut or avocado are easier and both can penetrate the hair. Conditioner-only washing is more effective than shampooing IMO.

I've started doing this lately using the pomades from the pomade shop on etsy and I'm loving the results. Can't believe how soft my hair is the next day. We shall see about growth later on. Haven't been doing it enough to notice.

I only did this a couple times and keep telling myself to do it more. But I get lazy once I lay down.
