I'd be down with growing my hair to hip length. Right now it is somewhere around waist length. But I was just wondering, do you ladies consider the determining factor of hair length to be where it falls when pulled straight down in the back, or pulled to the front? I only ask because I've found that some one might claim they have reached APL because their hair, when pulled straight down their back, the tips end where their arm pit starts. But then another well-meaning curly might come back and say her hair is not considered APL because when pulled to the front, it only comes down to her collar bone. I tend to use the "back" measurements. What do you ladies think is the most accurate?
