What's happening

My last length check was months ago. Stretched my hair in the back was APL, the crown was chin length and my bangs were to my nose. Since then I've worn my hair in weaves as a protective style and got a trim. I got my trim while my hair was blown out so maybe that's what happened. But I just took my hair out of weaves and all my hair is the same length ...a little past shoulder length stretched. Meaning yes maybe my stylist hacked off my hair in the back but it also means my hair in the front grew really fast. Did my hair break in the back?
Shampoo: Terressetials Mud Wash (lavender or lemon)
Co-Wash: Trader Joe's Tea Tree Conditioner
Deep Conditioner: Anita Grant's Rhassoul Deep Condish
Leave In: Kinky Curly Knot Today
Creams/Oils: Raw Shea Butter, Extra Virgin Coconut Oil, Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Jamican Black Castor Oil and Jojoba Oil
You hair stylist may have trimmed to make all the lengths even.

Whenever I go to them, they try to cut as much as they can to even the length. And all I wanted was a trim but they say it wont look good with different lengths.

I'd say next time trim your own hair. That's what I've been doing and I have varying lengths but they grow out in different rates so there's no point in evening it out.

Nobody can say what has happened, we weren't at the salon. Next time have the stylist show you what she intends to cut and check what is on the floor afterwards.

Many people don't call weaves a protective style, they can easily be damaging. True protective styles just means gentle up dos that have the vulnerable ends tucked away.
