are you taking 5000mg or 5000mcg? I think 5000mcg = 500mg... not sure though? i just notice that some vitamins use mg vs mcg...
i just checked and it's 5000mcg. i think mcg is the measurement most often used for biotin. my multi doesn't have biotin in it so i don't think i'm overdoing it?

So how many inches do you get per month?
wow i don't measure...i never have. i just pull my hair from time to time to see how long it is unstretched...and it's a lot longer since i cut my locs in dec and it was next to nothing in length. i'm thinking i'm going to twist my hair soon and that's when i see my best length.
Ok just thought you did.
Most people do.

Well I heard biotin also promotes strong nails, I'm not seeing this because my nails have been chipping(in layers mostly) off lately.

my nails grow pretty long and i believe it's largely genetic. my mother and grandmother both have long nails. even in high school i had freakishly long nails. i do now too without even trying but i do try to put a clear polish on them to keep them from breaking if i hit them on something. i highly recommend sally hansen nail polish. it's good for your nails. i've used it for years....
