Default Shedding

Hello again!

In the past month, I feel like there is more hair in my brush, my clothes, hands... You get the idea.

The strands are full length and have the "bulb" or root on them, so I know it isn't breakage. I de tangle from the bottom up so I'm not sure what's going on here.

How much shedding happens for you?? Can you recommend any good products?

Thanks!! 💗

Shedding is just a normal thing, so there aren't really any products that can help. It's normal to shed around 100 hairs per day.

As long as your hair isn't thinning / you're not noticing bald patches, then I'd seriously not worry

If the level of shedding is unusual for you see your family doctor or a dermatologist.

Do review your diet making sure it is balanced and nutrient dense - getting enough oily fish (vitamin D and long chain omega-3s), nuts seeds beans lentils (for minerals), red meat ideally organ meats (haem iron) not just the obvious fruit and vegetables.

Also consider any life stresses in the last two to three months.

Leave in: Fructis Sleek & Shine (old), Gliss ultimate volume, Inecto argan
Styler: Umberto Giannini jelly, Boots Essentials gel
Experimenting with: going back to basics
