Id just like to point out your choice of products.. that may be your main and only problem. Ive found from personal experience that both V05 & Garnier are crappy when it comes to dry/curly hair. ESP that strawerries & cream conditioner, smells good but thats about all it does. & Garnier products seemed to be a bit drying. You need something of better quality, and they can still be found at a drugstore so dont worry.
I use moisturizing shampoos & deep conditioners to maintain my once dry but now healthy hair, esp because i heat style weekly..
I dont think you will be dissappointed by Loreal Vive Pro Hydra Gloss Shampoo & Conditioner for extra dry hair [transformed my mothers extremely dry rough hair], Aphogee Evening Primrose Shampoo & Intensive Keratin Reconstructor, or my new favorite Loreals new sulfate free Everpure line, the moisturizing one, i absolutely L0VE it.. though its sulfate free the shampoo still lathers and cleans really well & the conditioner is great to leave in (its not sticky or heavy) but still moisturizing if you rinse out. I think you will do great with any of those and i HIGHLY recommend you try Aussie 3 Min Miracle either sydney smooth or Deeep treatment-- really works miracles and is only abt $3!
Herbal Essences come clean shampoo is also a really great clarifying shampoo, removes buildup without overdrying!
Im pretty sure its your choice of products that are killing your hair, V05 is really no good.. fore a leave in, try Loreal or Infusium 23!
Also, i recently invested in some organic coconut oil, great as a deep conditioner and all natural scalp oil.. i like the texture w. my hair better than jojoba, that might help with your dry scalp. Although a better conditioner will improve upon that as well. Hope it helps !!
