Default my hair just doesn't grow

My hair is at my shoulders curly and slightly past my shoulders straight. I feel like it has been this length for years and just will not grow and if I just had a little more length to it, I'd enjoy my curly hair more. I'm just hoping for some suggestions. I'm pretty sure I have 3a with some 3b type hair with a year and a half old relaxer still on the ends.

What do you suggest to help my hair grow? Anything would be great... thank you!

I was in the same spot for the last few yrs, it seemed like my hair was just sitting contently on my shoulders and wouldn't budge. I started taking biotin suppliments to help give my hair the little boost it needed to get over my shoulders. It seems to have passed my shoulders now and is growing. I'd try some biotin or hair skin and nails suppliments, make sure you are drinking lots of water, eating lots of fruits and veggies and apparently gelatin helps (so I'll be heading to the store for some jello today to see if that helps too.) You have to also keep in mind, all hair grows, i doesn't stop, the problem is that your loosinglength so everytime you grow 1/2 inch of new growth, your hair breaks on the ends about 1/2 inch so your losing as fast as it's growing. You have to take care of you ends like a new born baby, that is how you maintain the current length and allow for new growth, that is how your hair get's longer. Protect and seal your ends to keep in moisture, get rid of split ends, they are doing more harm then good, an strengthen your hair as well. People often think their hair isn't growing when in actuality there hair breaking at the same time the hair is growing so you never see growth. Protect those ends girl and make sure you get a trim when you need a trim cause split ends just split higher up the hair shaft and cause more breakage.
