Default Supportive people?

Do you guys have anyone in your life who is very supportive of your curly hair and understands the troubles you go through?

For example two of my coworkers have naturally curly hair and support me. My boyfriend also has patients when I "squish my hair" (crush out my gel) before we go out.

My boyfriend has hair very much like mine so we know of the 'struggles' of curly hair and we support each other. I tell him about things I learn here. He looks for conditioners he thinks I'd like to try for my hair experiments. : )

Other than him and the people here at NC, I don't have anyone else who really gets my hair. Most people think I should straighten it or cut it short or dye it. But I love my natural hair and will continue to wear it how it makes me happy.

My BFF. We always call each other right after a haircut, and our messages to each other include a "hair report."

My hair was wild, long and curly when I met my dear hubby. It was my one of my most distinguishing features he said. He has been most supportive of my struggles since day 1.

My best friend has very thin, straight hair while mine is very full and curly. Although we have different issues we "get" each others hair problems and give each other updates as well!
