I agree! Certain people, when they are feeling insecure, will try to find something they think you are insecure about, to make themselves feel better. Take it as a compliment, because you are very, very pretty, and she is miserable and jealous. She probably actually likes your hair (as it is a show-stopper everywhere you go), so she, as a small-minded jealous person, is using something that is different about you to make her feel better. But the joke is on her! Good for you for not lowering yourself to her level... She isn't going to change, no matter what you say or do, and she isn't worth wasting your time or anger on. Know that most people are on your side, and just go flirt with that hottie

, and let her know she isn't effecting you, or your self-esteem, in the least!
