The 2nd best thing my boyfriend ever told me (I had my hair straightened at that time) : why did you do that to your beautiful curls?
...so much for guys not liking curls :P

Sounds like you have a lovely boyfriend Scrit! It's lovely enough when a woman compliments your curls, but when guys do, it makes you feel on top of the world!

Well I started putting my hair into a pineapple the night of washing it and it turned out super nice and curly in the morning. And since then I've been getting a lot of compliments at school. My friends ask me what I did to my hair, how much time I spent on it, etc... I take that as a compliment. sometimes someone will tell me she likes my hair or ask me if it's naturally that way. My mom and dad aren't fans of curly hair But I think for every person who doesn't like your curly hair there are 10 people who think it's beautiful, and not all necessarily vocalize it. So even on those days when you hate your hair and want to straighten it, just rock it. Because if you rock it other people will think it rocks

I started a new job this week, and when my mentor was taking me around and introducing me, I got the nicest compliment. Basically I was being introduced to someone and his assistant, who was a nice young woman with curly hair - she had like fine 2a waves. So her boss says "welcome, we're glad to have you" or something like that, and she said something along the lines of agreeing with him, but then she said, "especially since she has nice curls!"
I had to laugh at that Plus it was nice to hear.

My biggest fan and the one k get the most compliments from is my lovely boyfriend who loves my curly hair. He's always telling me not to straighten them and how I should just let it go curly and big and he hid my straightener from me just last week lol. I only straighten every 4/5 months now so it's no big deal! But anyways It's really nice having a man in your life who embraces your curls, compared to my ex who was anti curly! I get compliments daily also on people thinking I curled it or that it's fake, gotta love being a curly girl.

I had a dentist appt yesterday, and the lady at the check out told me my hair was really pretty. I said thank you, and she replied by saying she would do anything to get curly hair! It made me really happy because it was second day hair, and I hadn't pineappled or anything.

I decided to actually do my hair today, because I'm working at a desk all day as opposed to out in the field (I work at a state park). And as soon as I drove up, one of the rangers complimented my hair, and about 10 minutes later another one gave me a compliment as well! 2 in 10 minutes might be a personal record! Haha. I love it.

Friday night, DH and I went to a tex-mex place close to our house. DH was sitting facing in the direction of 2 ladies who were at least my age. They were talking and pointing our way. Since DH saw them, he motioned "are you talking to ME?" (him). So I turned around to see what he was referring to, if he knew people there, etc.
The ladies said no, they were talking about MY hair. That they always wanted curly hair and think that their hair *might* curl like mine if they let it. Yeah, OK so you should try it!

I was at work ringing a customer up and just as I finished she went to walk off but turned back and said you're hair is just so cute then she started asking me what I did to get it how it was and what products I used then she goes hold up let me get my pen and paper out lol it was so funny because she was holding up my line so the other customers were getting a little irritated lol.

I think the best compliment I ever got was when I went to get a deva cut last summer and I was a bit early so I was admiring the nail polishes on display and the stylist came up to me from behind and asked if I was there for a deva cut. When I said yes she said "Oh good! I saw your beautiful curls and I was so hoping that I would get to cut your hair!" Every other haircut I'd gotten before they had acted like my curls were a complicating factor that would just make things harder, but she seemed to think it was an honor to get to work with my ringlets!

I've just been curly and CG for a month now, but I've gotten four compliments (oh yes, I'm counting! Lol) from total strangers. I must be doing something right because I never received compliments on my hair when I blow dried it straight - never!

Yesterday, a coworker of mine gasped and asked me if I just dyed my hair. I told her no, I haven't. She was like, "Oh, it just looks extra dark and shiny today! It's so beautiful!"
 I was quite pleased.

I got a really nice compliment from my boyfriend the other day. We were getting ready for a wedding and I asked him if he thought I should straighten/blowdry my hair for the event, he just looked at me blankly and said, "Why?"
And I said that maybe it would look a little bit neater and it would just be a change, and he said he thought curly hair seemed really "alive" and straight hair just struck him as limp and dull. Later in the week we were in Target and I was looking at hair straighteners and he just told me to not be stupid and ruin my gorgeous hair.
