I was looking at the Bic white out commercial, and here is how it goes...

A stick-figure-girl is looking in the mirror, and she has a beautiful head of curls. She is frowning. Then, a white out pen comes and whites out her hair. A pen comes along and draws straw-straight hair. Then she is happy.

THAT IS SO FREAKYN' MEAN!!! SHAME ON YOU BIC!

Apalling and demeaning to curlies.
Actually, all the men I know PREFER curls to straigh tresses.

Why does the media try to portray something so far from the truth?

Maybe they have to overcompensate and convince the public that "straight hair is better" to try and sell hair straightening products??

Curlies don't need to push anything--our curls sell themsleves!


We don't NEED help from the media--we know curls are fab!
