So I was in target looking at bed sheets and all the sudden my head gets pulled backwards and I feel this sharp pain, I turn around and this girl is holding a clump of my hair, I'm just staring at her in shock and she looks me in the eyes and says "oh I guess it is real" and then she just runs away giggling with her friend, my head still hurts. Has anything totally crazy ever happened to you?
that is utterly amazing to me. I am so sorry that happened to you. I can not even get my mind around this. Suppose is was a wig.... they wanted to snatch it off??? WTF
If your avatar is your hair I am even more confused. It is neither long nor overly large for anyone to think it is outrageous....Why are kids going around snatching strangers hair in the first place? The world is going to hell in a hand basket.
Thank God nothing like that has ever happened to me. O h I take that back. I was in NY once on vacation on a boat and a lady sitting behind me was talking to someone about my hair and said she thought I had on a wig or a fall and that she could see where my hair started and the wig stopped or something crazy like that. It was my hair btw. In any event, she was VERY RUDE to be publicly analyzing whether my hair was mine or not and right behind me so I could clearly hear!. She was some blonde who was obviously jealous of my hair for some reason.

Suppose it was a wig? She thought it was OK to publicly bash someone for wearing a wig? People are just gross some times.

My Routine:
Coconut oil drench the night before I co-wash
then cowash and deep condition each time w/ Keracare Humecto, Joico Moisture Recovery and/or ApHogee 2min
then usually airdry
Grapeseed oil nightly

(no gel, mouse, or hair spray. My delicate, fine hair will tear if I even try to run my fingers through it with any of those. )
My go to leave ins are now: my regular conditioners listed above, gs oil, or PW77

My hair is only 8"and shrinks to like 5" so I have no idea why they thought it wasn't real, the whole situation was very very confusing, I've had people ask if my hair is naturally curly but no one has ever grabbed it before, I don't know if they thought pulling on it would make it straight or something, people can be so ignorant, once I went to the pool with a friend and she was so confused why my hair became straight while swimming smh
It IS confusing because I see your curls as barely there.. I can't imagine why anyone would be confused by them. Have they been living under a rock to never see body wave hair before ??? It is amazing how dumb people behave some times.

Do you think the store has this on tape? I believe you were attacked.

I talked to the store manager and he said they would investigate, I don't know how much they can do, he did offer me some discounts though
Are you okay with that?

I wasn't the best kid on earth, but I never would have done that, even at my worst. I'm shocked and sorry.

Kids do stupid things, if I ever see them again I'll make sure they know not to do it again lol
Wow you're much better than me! To be honest, my first instinct would have been to turn around & punch whoever that was dead in the face out of self defense, Then i would look 2 see who did it.

Lol if she was an adult I would have lost my **** but they looked 13 years old so I just let it go, I would have been in trouble if I pulled her hair back
That little heifer deserves a public beatdown. Don't worry, your girls at NC have your back, LOL!

Haha thanks ladies, I'm glad this isn't a common situation
This behavior isn't even something that I would attribute to young age. I never thought that this type of thing was okay as a child. I'm sorry that you had to endure this, and I commend you for being so calm in the situation. I definitely would have had more than a few things to say, many of them to her parents.

I really admire your ability to remain rational and calm. I would have lost my mind!!
