I grew out my hair for several years and got a big chop of 17 inches off last year, to a chin length cut. I donated my hair to Locks of Love and people told me they were jealous of whoever ended up with my future wig!

Ever since I got the big chop too, I've gotten tons of compliments. It's like the gift that keeps on giving!

So glad everyone's remembering the compliments they get and embracing their hair!

Aww, that's lovely! Obviously, because you've been so giving yourself in donating your hair, you are receiving something back in all the compliments you're getting.

For the past two days the DH has been smelling my hair and telling me it smells like pipe tobacco or a really good cigar (coming from him it's a compliment I promise). :]

I get compliments about how people wish they had my hair or they love it all the time but my favorite comment comes from my boyfriend...who loves curly hair...tells me how much he loves my hair and how it's beautiful all big, wild and curly and prefers me NOT to straighten it! Lol. It's long distance, and he says if I wanna straighten it, do it while im here and when I go to visit, I have to keep it curly at all times! But when he does see me with straight hair, he still thinks I look beautiful. Is he a keeper or what?! <3

I remember when I first started going CG, on the first week I kept getting asked questions like if I got a perm, if my hair was like that naturally, etc.

I got asked what I did with my hair and I said "Nothing!" and their response was "No way!" LOL.

hahahaha, oh my grandma.... Since I've gone CG and let my hair go curly she's always amazed at it (she used to have curly hair too). Just today while she was visiting she said, "Sara! You should be a hair model..." which is incredibly ironic because many years ago when my hair was fluffy and gross, my parents and I were visiting family in Ecuador (humidity!) and they said, "We (the family) should create a line of hair products, and we can have a picture of you as the "Before" and a picture of Analia (younger cousin with sleek, straight hair) as the "After."

Jokes on you parents!

I have been a CG for quite sometime now. I had delivered my baby last week and had to stay a week at the hospital, during the hospital stay, I washed my hair the day I felt better and people are stopping by my room to compliment my hair!!! Not to check on my health!!Haha. I have never never ever had so much compliments - that too at the hospital after having baby!! GoodTimes. THANK YOU NC.com! Totally gave a 360 degree change to my life!!Never felt so confident!!!

I was at the drive thru and the cashier told me my hair was beautiful. She asked me who does it and I said I do it myself. She said "Can you do mine?"

This past school year, my friends were always complimenting my hair, even the days when it was really frizzy. I've even had to tell some of my friends to stop petting my hair
I was at an open house a couple of weeks ago, and i thought my hair looked kind of yucky (i had been outside in the rain for a while, and it was really frizzy) and a girl I know was there and she told me "I love your hair, it always looks so pretty"
