Sort of the same here. Sometimes I go off on this long rant. Most of my friends have realized by now that I'm just very... passionate about the things that bug me.

And then one day when I was sleepy, and relatively quiet, my sister asked me "are you calm?" "yes, why?" "Well, you're normally... calm, but you seem more calm than normal."

Oh, and I completely forgot about Wendy. lol.

omg, I loved her hair and skin and lips! She was way prettier than Jasmine, who all my friends seemed to love.

I loved Giselle's hair in the cartoon and in real life. It didn't look as nice when it was straightened in the end, though.

Every person I know that draws or paints says curly hair is MUCH harder to draw. Well, at least ringlets are... That's why you typically see straight hair or waves.

ETA: Crap! I did it again! I look back at older posts when I'm bored and something inspires me to post to an old thread. Oops!

I think Snow White would have lovely 2a/3b hair if she'd go CG.

I've read the book The Princess Diaries, and in that one they simply cut her already straight hair and dye it blonde. I think in the movie, they wanted something that would be very dramatic. The huge curly hair at the beginning was likely a wig, since I believe Anne's hair is naturally straight.

That said, I remember being very annoyed with that, since I was roughly Mia's age when the film came out and had really come to terms with my curls at last.

Connected or not, later that year I got my hair chemically straightened (NEVER again).

What's ironic for the film, though, is that they make two very good points: the first is that they straighten her hair to make her more Princess-like, but Mia fights her "transformation" all the way through. It's made clear that they're kind of trying to make her seem less unique. The other is that the boy she ends up with loved her when her hair was curly, and I think liked her more when she was "just Mia" as opposed to Princess Mia.

So the curls aren't a deterrant for love, and the only person who really finds her "acceptable" afterwards is the jerk.

I've had my hair chemically straightened as well. I will also NEVER do that again! It fried my hair. It also didn't even make it straight! I still had to use a blow dryer, brush, and curling iron to smooth it, otherwise it would just frizz. It didn't even want to curl anymore.

There's a new Disney Princess called The Princess and the Frog that's comming out in Dec '09. The new disney princess is black and I think she kinda looks like she has curly hair. What do you guys think?

Looks like her head was shaped like that

In some cultures (Egyptian, native southern American etc) it was considered very fashionable among the royalties.

OK, in this pic, you know what REALLY scares me? I mean yeah, the shape of the head is freaky, but no - the CARVED EYES AND EYEBROWS. I know it's a sculpture, but the rest of it looks so real that to do something like that to just one portion of the sculpture is just creepy.

Yeah Ryanne, her hair was gorgeous. In some parts it was straight, in others curly, and in others wavy though if i'm not mistaken.

In the new tinkerbell movie her friend Iridessa has curly hair & she is absolutely adorable. (voiced by raven symone)

http://www.disneyonlineworlds.com/in...From_the_Books

She also has some other friends with curly hair but im not sure they are going to be in any movies.

okay and as for tiana the black princess i think she looks darn good.

http://community.livejournal.com/ohn...ead=2513464835

the first picture is a fan picture but that would be supercute if they made her hair like that somewhere in the movie. =]

OMG && i also found the guy who did the fan pictures' website, he is good tiana looks superbad in that racy picture with her pouty lips.
