She is so beautiful with curls! With straight hair, she just looks generic. Anyone can do the straight look.

I really don't get it. Her natural hair is gorgeous! That's an odd little cleft in her chin, though...

I know! She has such beautiful hair. I can understand wanting a change (hell, I straightened for years and only stopped recently), but I dislike that a reputed magazine is going on about how much better she looks now. Sure, her hair is very pretty straight. But it's gorgeous – and unique – when curly.

I want to smack all the editors of that magazine and her (Lilly's) own personal stylist for convincing her that the straight haired look is the way to go. She's got gorgeous curls and waves! Another celebrity ruined by Hollywood.

Gah, she looks so much better with curls. What were they thinking? Going straight is so boring... curls spice things up!

While she does look pretty with the glasses and straight hair, EVERYONE looks like that. Wasn't she #2 like last year on Maxim's 100? She had long curls and was gorgeous. She BETTER stay curly on season 3 of Lost. Let me guess, they can't have any normal human world contact but they'll find her a straightening iron??

Well I know this, it's great that Hollywood is finally diverse, like having a black Bond girl as well as an Asian. Now we need curls too. I don't care what skin color the actresses have on film, we need to start putting girls with gorgeous curls on more Soaps, films, and tv shows. Lost figured that out!!

And I don't want to see darker beauties like Halle Berry or Vivica A. Fox straightening their hair anymore on film or commercials. Halle is so pretty with her ringlets.

Neither is better.
Straightening is good for a change, but I have a problem when the media and well-meaning (or just plain nasty) people try to say that straight is the only way to look good - for us mere mortals who don't have a stylist, we can't be straight 24/7. Straight is best isn't a healthy, realistic way to think about your curls and it can spread to unhealthy thinking about the rest of yourself as well.

Re: Neither is better.
Exactly! Evie looks beautiful with straight hair – she'd look beautiful no matter what, really. But the message seems to be that the curls are somehow inferior. Like she's better looking without them, which I don't think is the case at all.
