first of all, how are you feeling? Hope you're doing well!
secondly, curly hair can get poofy. But with the right hair cut and products, it will grow down and not be that triangle shape.
Will you be having more chemo? Don't know if that will change the texture and pattern of your hair.
IMO, when curly hair is super short, that's when it's the most difficult... but as you gain length, you gain weight which pulls the hair down.

I have fine, thin to normal density (i have lupus and lose hair from that), 3A/B curl pattern, normal porosity.
Fine hair needs protein so I use protein daily.
