hi girls! I need some help here.... im desperate!

my curls are not the same on both sides of my head, my left side has weird, not defined curls and it has been shedding... my mom says its becauce I sleep on that side, but Ive always slept the same and my curls were not like this I've tried deep conditioning, Softsheen and Carson Curl activator, aloe vera, molases.......everything that has come to my mind!!!! I dont even know what's wrong

anyone else with the same problem?? any advice???
