Aleppo Soap bar for seborrheic dermatitis and scalp issues

About 3 weeks ago I found an article about Aleppo soap and it's curing benefits for people suffering from eczema and psorerisas. Aleppo soap is 100% all-natural, biodegradable, handmade hard bar soap. It's made from olive oil and laurel oil, the last one helps the skin to calm down.
I have tried to stop the itchiness with coconut oil, sugar massages (I still do sometimes), tea tree oil but the Aleppo soap seems to realy help my scalp. I have only been using it about 3 weeks now but the results are amazing. I only wash my scalp with it once a week and I no longer have problems with it. I use the varaint with 30 procent laurel oil. I thought I would share with other CG who have scalp issue's. If anybody has experience with using it I would love to hear from you too. Below a link with some more information about the soap and it's curing ingredients.

I found 40% laurel oil bar. I'm going to try it. I too have tried everything under the sun with the itching, scaly skin, redness on my scalp.
Hi mooshville, how is the aleppo soap working for you? Hope you are itch free, for me it really does the trick.

I haven't received it yet. I should be getting it in the next day or two. I ordered the Najel 40% laurel on ebay that's coming from Poland. I have a gammet of problems like itching and burning and prickly sensations because of my hair loss issue. Nothing I can do about the hair loss but I just want these symptoms to go away. I'll post how it goes once I get it and have tried it a few times to really know.

Did you use it everyday in the beginning and then go down to once a week once things got better?
I was okay with using it once a week but my symptons are not as strong as yours by the sound of it. Still it's the only thing that works for me to stop itching and red spots so I have good hope for you. Think your idea to begin using it every day sounds good, the soap is not harmful there are actually many people who use it on daily base. I hope it will arrive soon so your itchiness will get less.

Well, I've used it 5-6 time so far and I really like it! Itchiness is gone and so is majority of the flaking embedded in the skin on my face and eyebrows! No dandruff on scalp either. Redness on face is down! Thanks for the heads up! While nothing cures dermatitis, eczema, etc, this soap really helps!

Oh and I use ACV rinse after and a bit of leave in conditioner as it can be a tad drying for my ends- but it's small stuff.
Wow those are really good results! Very happy it works for you too, hooray no more itchyness :-). It's an amazing soap, better than any medical shampoo I ever used.

I have similar scalp issues and have been looking for a natural solution.

I am currently using Neem Oil massaged into the scalp for a couple of hours or overnight and African Black Soap but am only in early stages so can't give a definite verdict on it.

How do you use the soap? Do you just lather in your hands and massage into the scalp? I have been planning to liquefy the soap by grating and dissolving into warm water and then using like a shampoo.

Do you wash your hair everyday? My hair is pretty dry and frankly it's just too much work to wash everyday, I try to do at least 3 days. I wonder if these soaps will help if I'm not washing everyday with it.

I will also try the Aleppo soap if the African Black Soap doesn't work out.
Hair Type: 2C/3A, medium texture very porous also very thick and dry
