If anyone has any suggestions I would really appreciate it. About 6 months ago the texture of my hair started to change and it was also falling out. An excessive amount was coming out. I also noticed that my scalp was red. I went to the dermetogilist and they put me on med shampoo, Capex. I was also told my hair was just shedding. My hair is still falling out but at a normal pace now. But the texture is still terrible and my scalp is still red. It is sooooooooooooo dry. The minute I pick my curls it just looks like a big mass of frizz. I have tried mutiple shamoos, conditioner, etc. I need some suggestions for products and maybe this his happened to someone else with their scalp too. I was told that the Davine's products are really good. Thanks so much !

Could it be an allergic reaction to something in your products? Red scalp sounds like dermatitis.

I ask the DR about that and she thought it was not. I had been using Paul Mitchell products then when I had trouble I tried some other products as well. So changing products does not seem to help. Before this started I would wash my hair every other day since this started my hair is so dry I have to wash it daily. Also if I don't wash it on 2 day my scalp is VERY itchy. It seems almost like an excema to me. I could live with that but my hair is just awful. I am not used to having to work to have nice hair. Before this my hair was curly right to the root and now on the top the curl starts about half way down
