Im Missing My Curls :[

Im pretty sure it has to do with the terrible dry air in my house and outside, but my curls are crazy frizzy (i mean lost their shape compleatly) and when i try to leave in my condition longer, or use leave in conditioner, my hair gets too oily!

i miss my curls and want them back, and i need some good products or ideas to use, and since im a full time student, i dont have much to splurge.

any help with bring much happiness!! i miss my babies!!

btw im new here and i love it ^_^

Make sure you're not using products with glycerin this time of year as it pulls moisture from your hair if there's none in the atmosphere.

Giovanni Direct Leave-In is a light but effective leave-in and not too expensive . . . inexpensive Fruit of the Earth aloe vera gel also adds moisture without weight and helps with frizz. Helps other products work better as far clumping and definition, at least for me.

Don't know what else to recommend, not having any idea of whether you're at all CG or even familiar with it, your methods, or the types of products you now use.
2C/3A/3B - modified CG - med./fine, normal/low porosity/normal elasticity

Current Main Rotation: MG217 medicated or Aim2Health 'poos for scalp, YTCarrots or Elucence cond., Spiral Solutions Protein & Deeply Decadent Cond., CJCCCC reg or lite, KCCC, Giovanni LA Hold Hair Spritz + lots more, sporadically

HG Method: Super Soaker + Smasters-ing, brief upside down diffusing w/360o diffuser then clips/clamps & air dry. Newly gray - stopped my henna glosses!

Well, I and many others on this site like knock-offs of Biolage Conditioning Hydrating Balm like GVP Conditioning Balm from Sally's or Bioinfusion from Walgreen's. Both are at least as good as the name brand for less than half the price. I use it both as a typical rinse out and sometimes as a DT with a plastic cap and heat for longer periods of time.

I also love Karen's Body Beautiful Hair Milk or Hair Nectar (I don't the latter in winter because of glycerin), but you can only order it from their website. I know many others are loving Donna Marie products, also available only on-line, bu tI haven't tried them myself.

Ditto for L'Oreal Vive Nutri Gloss conditionerin the pink bottle - cheaper and available anywhere.

I nearly always also use about three pumps of FOTE AVG under any leave-in conditioner or other styling products for additional moisturizer and to help control frizz.
