First - I found a list of checmicals that act as humectants in products. This one wasn't on it but I got mixed results when I searched it. Anyone know if Glyceryl caprylate is a humectant?

Second - I am starting to use a lot more natural products so what natural ingredients are humectants? I know honey, agave nectar are. And there is doubts about aloe acting as a humectant. What else should I be on the lookout for?
