Just wanted to say hello to all my fellow high porosity curlies! I recently figured out that I have high porosity hair, and I'm hoping this knowledge will help me change my hair routine for the better! I wish this site would do more to promote knowledge of porosity. A lot of the advice I tried to follow for type "2" hair led me astray. I could never figure out which type of 2 I was supposed to be; my hair is fine and easily straightened like a 2a, but my issues with frizzing seemed to make me more like a 2c! Now I know the answer: it's because my hair is fine AND porous! I can already tell a lot of the threads on this forum are going to be helpful for me. I'm so excited to try a new hair routine. Thanks for posting everyone and keep it up!
Hi Sabibs, Sorry to hear you have high porosity hair since I have it too and I don't like it, but I did like your post so wanted to say hello. Maybe we high porosity types can help each other find solutions! Please continue posting.
2/c and some 3A.
Protein sensitive but can use occasionally
Highly porous. Color over grey.
Best 1st day method: Super Soaker
Stylers: Mix Curls in a Bottle into everything for shine. Terrible pj
Sometimes try roller sets - classic glamor but I prefer my curls.
Every day is a gift
Sabibs, I also like your post, and agree with Curlypearl to help each other.

Since I've been in this forum, I've noticed that many people here use at least two of the products I do. I rotate my products, so I don't have them all in my sigi.

Please include your hair products in your signature, as you may see many of your fellow porous curlies use some of the same products.

Look forward to reading your posts!
