Can someone set me straight? No clue whats going on

After going CG then back then CG again I finally decided to do it all the way this time and figure out my hair attributes. Pretty sure I'm a 3a with high porosity, med-high density and the hair itself is pretty fine. I use the the whole KC line and really like it most of the time but lately my hair will not dry! It takes 4 hours to dry naturally. It is just long and loose and stringy because of it then! KC has a new oil that is nice for sealing (I have been reading :-) ) so I have zero frizz except for a few places i touch often but its so heavy and limp! this is the past week. I see most people say add protein and i was thinking of swapping my KCCC for LA Looks Sport and doing a mask but is that too much? HELP!!!

KCCC does take a while to dry, and maybe you're "heavy handed" with the product. Try using less of the KCCC on your hair.

When was the last time you gave your hair a PT? Fine hair does need protein more so than coarse hair. If it's been a while, do a PT. This should strengthen your hair so it won't be as limp.

If your hair is still limp after cutting back on the KCCC and the PT, you may need to try a different product, or perhaps you need a trim.
