Default Frizzy side!

Hello everyone!

I have 3c hair, I pineapple everyday and sleep on a satin pillowcase, but all of a sudden the right side of my head has gone completely crazy, its frizzy and dry, curls aren't as defined as in the left side, specially the ends (not even close!) I do sleep on that side, but this stuff had never happened before, the ends look and feel horrible when I touch
them.

Any advice? I deep condition every week, use sulfate free shampoo, detangle with a wide tooth comb.

Oh! And my hair is falling, tangling more than usual and I'm plagued with single strand knots.

Help!

Maybe try a protein treatment, but that happens with my hair to, I just have to wet it every morning, 2nd day hair doesn't exist to me.

What are your hair properties and your current routine? When was the last time you clarified or chelated? Is that hair getting caught on your car seatbelt or purse strap?

Im actually using:
* come clean and knot today by kinky curly
* creme of nature extreme moisture conditioner
* curl enhancing smoothie from shea moisture.
(I add curly custard when I want more definition)

I trimmed my ends like two weeks ago but now that I think about it it has been a while since I last clarified, and no, I dont recall getting my hair caught under my purse strap. Im out of ideas of what could be causing this :/

too much prote´n could dry out your hair. Doesn't shea moisture contain prote´n?

you could try to put some oil and/or leave-in conditioner in the dryer parts of your hair before your you go to sleep.

what kind of material is your satin pillowcase? Satin is not a material (its'a ... don't know how to call that in English. But it's like 'the way it's made'). Cotton satin is for example less smooth and more dehydratating than synthetic satin is.

I have the same exact problem. I also have to start on fresh hair daily because my hair will look completely foolish if I attempt to walk out the house with second day hair. I just pineapple it and rewet in the morning. To combat frizz try Giovanni direct leave in; it really defied my curls and left little to no frizz.
