I love the banana pre-treatment as it strengthens my hair, but vinegar was added to see if if my hair would be detangled as well as strong.

It worked! Two ripe medium bananas were pureed with a tablespoon of ACV. The mixture was applied, and then I covered my hair with two plastic caps for about 30 minutes.

Afterward, my hair was detangled such that I could finger comb with no problem. And it was that way after the mixture was rinsed out. My hair was also smooth and not dry.

During the dry winter months, sometimes I overcondition my hair so I need a protein treatment. I like to apply the PT prior to low poo, but pre-pooing is also a nice change.
