Possible Side-effect!?

Hey all!!!

So I was thinking about getting one of those keratin treatments I keep hearing about. I know some people who have gotten them and they have kept their curl but mentioned it helps take away some of the frizz and issues with taking care of their hair. However, I have hears some pretty interesting things regarding the treatment. Some people have told me that the Keratin treatment permanently altered their curl pattern as in the hair that grows out of their head grows out differently than it did before the treatment! Is this true!? I love my curls and would hate to lose them for good because of the treatment. Someone please help!

By the way, I have type 3C hair.

I switched to cystine based "keratin" treaments because they are mild and pregnant women and children can use them. Plus, I can keep my curls.

I think QOD Max Organiq is excellent if want to keep your curls. Just do about 2 -3 passes on about 400 degrees and you should be fine.
