Inoar Or CocoChoco?

Hello gorgeous ladies! Time to get a new bottle and I am obsessing! But Since QOD MAX is no longer what I used to use (I WAS IN LOVE!) What other products out there are similar to the Original QOD MAX?

I found on Ebay a Brand CocoChoco, the bottle looks exactly as the QOD MAX. Or should I buy Inoar?

Has anyone here used CocoChoco?

So far I am finding many great reviews in Amazon.com on the CocoChoco. And many not so good reviews on the Inoar.
I am still doing research.

Now KeraPremium has amazing reviews!! I might go with that one!

I just drastically changed my hair color to a caramel blonde, I hope it doesn't pull orange like I read that other treatments do. The Original QOD Max I am used to use did not pull orange on me. But I had brown hair by then.
Xmm....well I dye my hair blue-black and I m using Qod max..
It defenetely takes out the blue shade and it quikly turns into a very dark brown-almost black....I hate any brown shade on my hair and I 'm trying to find a way to retain the colour after keratin.

If you dont mind, could you post your review for Kerapremium after you've used it?
I think that it will be my next purchase

So far I notice that the consistency of the Kerapremium is a bit more "creamier" than the Original QOD Max I was used to use. The QOD had "sand-like" little "bubbles?" with creamy consistency (trying to find the correct way to describe it). So it easier to over saturate the hair with the product. (but again, my hair was just colored so it was sucking in the product) It smells the same and it feels the same as it coats the hair.

So far my hair color is the same as before I applied. Sadly I did a color correction after trying to go lighter, my hair was pulling too much brassiness, so I threw ash toner on it, my hair grabbed to much ash. But I was ok with it since I thought the kerapremium was going to pull a little bit of copper tones as last time. But in this case, it did not change the color at all. So I will wait two weeks to throw in another toner. I guess this one does not altered the hair color as the QOD Max did to me.

I will post some more after is all set and done.
Hi AphroDiva! I have not been on this board in a long time and was so glad to see your post. I am also searching for a new keratin and thought I better check nc forum first! Let us know how that kerapremium goes and compares to QOD. Hope you're feeling well and look forward to hearing about your experience with the kerapremium. Did you get it from ebay?

I will keep you posted as soon as I wash the treatment out. I can't wait!!
Ok, I washed my hair! And I have to say I was a bit skeptical, I read many reviews that this one actually gives better results than the Originam QOD Max. Better than QOD MAX???!! I could not believe that .
But the end result is.... I LOVE IT!

I was worried when I came out of the shower, I did not know what to expect. I applied a little bit if Suave Keratin Infusion leave in conditioner and a bit or argan oil, and allow my hair to air dry. It dried straight!! I did not have to flat iron at all! Not even my bangs! As time goes by it will start drying out in that awesome "beachy" waves I adore. For now I enjoy the luxury of straight, soft hair.
Hair dried so soft I can't stop touching it. Now I notice more body than the Original QOD MAX. I think this might be better than the QOD Max I fell in love with. Air drying straight, soft and with body?! I am hooked!

I will report more after a couple of weeks and see how it is holding on.

I still need to do a color correction in two weeks, after a chaotic hair color disaster, lets see what happen. I intent to reapply again soon after I get my color fixed. I am attaching pictures. My kitchen light makes my hair look more red than what it actually is. This was a result of a bad hair dye job. This is why I needed sooo bad to give my hair some TLC before doing another process to fix this mess. The cam does not capture the pretty shine my hair has.

I know what my favorite girlfriends will be getting for Christmas!

Omagad you re gorgeous, Aphro! (great lips btw)
I LOVE your hair!
And actually that colour seems to be really nice!
I like!

So do you consider Kerapremium better than QOD?
How many days did you let it sit on your hair?

Unfortunately I m getting a bit of frizz and dryness at the ends after a couple of washes....I hope I ll have better results with Kerap.

What about the fumes? Were they stronger or same as QODs'?

Ok, the fumes are as strong as the QOD. But so far I think this is a better formula! (or the slightly different application method makes a big difference?) After washing your hair, and drying it, you apply the treatment, let it rest on hair for 10 minutes, then blow dry hair, then flat iron passing 4-5 times. (I let my cousin borrow the printed instructions, I forgot the heat amount but I know it was lower than the QOD max instructions)

My hair has that extra body! And it is amazingly soft, I can't stop touching my hair. The QOD will leaves it soft, but this one is a silky soft you just cant stop touching.
The QOD leaves the hair straight as well with volume reduction , but Kerapremium leaves the hair straight but with a gorgeous body!

No noticeable changes on my hair ends yet, they look perfect! Lets see if after a couple of washes I have to trim them. but so far, perfect! I think the fact that the instructions tell you to pass the flat iron 4-5 time over the hair instead of the 7plus times that QOD instructions read makes a big difference.

I left the treatment 48 hours (printed instruction say to leave for 24-48 hours) I wanted to leave the treatment more time, since the online instruction read 48 to 72hrs, but I was too desperate to compare with the QOD.

I have not yet touch my flat iron, I woke up with gorgeous hair.

I love this product!

I had colored/bleached my hair prior to the treatment so I was worried about my ends as well. But wow! It seems my ends got pampered as well.
haha no no, misunderstood
I mean my natural hair are very very dry at the ends.
And although at first keratin works miracles from roots to ends. after a few washes ends go back to their natural very dry stage, while roots are still baby soft.

I cant explain why is that...Guess I need a generous trim
Thanks for the review Aphrodiva! The pictures look great!! Keep us updated on how it compares to the QOD, especially how long it seems to last. I like the fact that it keeps more volume and body than the others. That's the one downside to keratin. Right now, my hair is in a good place. Kinda wavy, and easy to style. I don't know if I can go through the winter without keratin (that was my goal), so we shall see how far I make it. Good to know kerapremium is an option. Thanks!

I have mixed feelings now. It is missing something thatI used to see with the original. Normally by now with the Original QOD Max, my hair would still be SUPER shinny and so soft every time I style it (Only the new grow would be different) QOD Max lasted soooooo long on my hair.
Now, with Kerapremium, I have to redo the entire hair with another treatment. That long lasting SUPER shine is gone, and hair is not that soft. BUT, it is growing fast!
I guess I got spoiled with the QOD Max Original. Or maybe because I lighten my hair I am noticing this? But I colored and did treatment after. No clue.
Lets see what happens on my next treatment.

In case anyone was interested the kerapremium line has come out with a platinum version of their formaldehyde free treatment. I wonder how it would compare to the regular version. Im currently using the qod max organiq and its ok.

Straight haired natural journey
I did the treatment once again, right after I did my color correction and now it came out very soft and very shiny, once again. Lets see if it last as long as the original QOD MAX. The sine and softness is amazing! But will it last this time? I'll keep you all posted.

I think me playing with hair color was to blame with the treatment wearing off so fast. Now I waited to have the desired color and do the treatment. It did not altered my hair color at all! And it took the treatment as I would want to with QOD Max original.
I think is much better to color the hair BEFORE the treatment, than applying color over treated hair. Even if you wait the weeks, it might remove some of the treatment.

So I used to use QOD original, loved it, then I got the Organiq formula, hated it! When I flat ironed it, it squeaked on my hair, so I stopped using it altogether.
Then I ventured into Inoar, because of the fact that you could wash it the same day. The first bottle I got was kind of okay, extremely strong smell though. The second bottle was even worse, the formula lasted a week or so before it started fading out and the smell was even worse. I still have the rest of the bottle, but I decided that I have to find something new.

So I was looking online and there are SO many kinds to choose from now, although I don't know if half of them are available for sale to non-professionals. Aphrodiva, I was wondering if you like the Kerapremium so far, and if the smell from it bothers you too much. Or have you tried or heard of something other than that that might be good to try?
