Default Keratin is the Enemy

When i did my first keratin treatment i got lots of compliments and i could comb my hair without pain and shake it in the wind i have to admit i was really happy with the results but after my first wash my hair was getting very coarse and i started shedding large amounts of hair ... It's supposed to last 3 months but it still hasnt come out no matter what i try. I so regret putting this back in my natural hair ... any tips on what can help speed up the process

Shedding at the roots or mid shaft breakage? If your hair is breaking and straight you may have heat damage which has to be cut or grown out unfortunately.
2a-2c, medium texture, porous/ colour treated. Three years CG, growing out mechanical and chemical damage = breakage and very high porosity. Past armpit length heading for waist.

CO-wash: Inecto coconut

In addition to damage, you may need to add much more moisture to your hair because chemical processes tend to strip hair of moisture and/or protein. Because your hair is breaking, you may need to try a protein treatment first, then follow up with moisturizing conditioner with a natural oil and leave a little rinse out conditioner in.

From my own experience the treatment didn't fade away until 6 months later so I'd give it another month or so for the curls to revert. After 3 uses, with a gap of 6-8 months it started to damage my hair. Whilst deep conditioning once a week try the LOC method, it helped me retain my length.
