Default Random Loc Thoughts

Just a place to post random thoughts as they relate to our locs, and the journey.

I am getting my second interlock this week. I asked how long I have to wait to start palm rolling and they told me the third interlock.

i luv my locs (sisterlocks) but i do miss the feel of my hair after a creamy deep conditioner. it's not needed and wouldn't be good for my hair now but that was a nice feeling...now going in the steam room at the gym replicates the softness and suppleness but i have to plan that.

I think I have succeeded in driving my SO crazy with all my ramblings about 'loc this and loc that'. I'm just REALLY EXCITED now that I've decided to do it!

I am so impatient! Having to wait to schedule my loc appointment is driving me batty; hopefully I'll be able to make it this week. Pics will follow after!

So far I've been using a spray I made up with olive oil, jojoba oil and water. I've also been using Sea Breeze to clean the scalp in between washings, since my locs are not completed locked up yet and I'm trying not to disturb the coils more than necessary.

I tried the Jamaican Mango & Lime No Itch Spray recommended by my loctitian...and hated it! If anything, it made my itchies worse! I should have read the ingredients list first, since the very first ingredient was...mineral oil!

Hope that helps!!
