LOC for wavies??

Hey all,

I read the article on LOC yesterday and I do follow the CG method, but no matter what, my hair seems to always need moisture. That was the part of the article that made me think this could work for my hair.

I have thick, but fine s wave type hair with normal porosity/elasticity. Any other wavies use the LOC method? If so, what products do you use??

Thanks!
Natalie

Yes! I just read this article when they posted it as well. It works absolute wonder for my hair!

Currently I'm using:
L: YTB or NG Henna
O: SM Reconstructive Elixir (it's a bit too light, but I'll use it for now)
C: SM Curl & Style Milk

awesome, glad to hear it work for you! I'm definitely going to try it. Hopefully it'll do something for my hair as well :)

If the LOC method does not work, you can also try the LCO method. I have normal to high porosity and I follow the LCO method.

Liquid = WATER
Cream = My Leave in
Oil = Shea butter/evoo mix

Also, you may get more responses if you post this in the general forum

Hey sixelamy, I've noticed your avatar pic in a few threads and your hair looks like what I imagine mine could be if I keep taking care of it and loving my curls (well, other than a little longer...but curl type, etc.). I was wondering about LOC...do you think with my hair type (in my siggie) my hair sounds similar to yours - so maybe LOC could work for me too?!

This thread should probably be on the General Discussion board. The Loc board is for discussions about locs which is a style - not the same as the LOC method! :icon_smile:
