Default Aloe vera gel build up??!!

Hello everyone! So i am new to CG. My current routine is washing hair with conditioner, rinse then apply another more rich conditioner (of course silicon free) and leave the most of it in the hair. After i get out of the shower i use an old t-shirt to absorb excess water and conditioner. And finally i style my hair with some organic aloe vera gel. The problem is that not only i've been seeing white dots everywhere in my hair, but i also lost my curl pattern! They seem to me more like S waves now! What's the problem? Build up? Overmoisturising?

The loosening does sound like overmoisturized hair. Try adding more protein to your routine?

Not sure about the white dots though.

HTH!

I get white "foam" when I use aloe vera gel for styling. Not sure why because I'm fine when I use products that contain aloe vera in them. It disappears when I scrunch with my CLU towel.

Protein is a good suggestion for reviving your curls. The other is changing up your products. Many of us rotate products just for that reason. My hair always satiated on product--even back in my shampoo/conditioner only days. I wet, use a rinse out and style every day. Seldom use any one product more then once every five days.

I haven't used any protein in my routine so far because i have no idea how. Should protein be in the leave-in ,like conditioner and oils, or should it be in styling products?

Kathymack i noticed the same thing with you about AVG. Can you please explain me what do you do after with your towel? And btw what is CLU?

I know so many questions I am still such a noob and i get confused with all these information..

I wet, use a rinse out and style soaking wet hair. Wrap in a Curlease towel while I dress and do make up (my hair is too short to really plop, this keeps my clothes from getting wet.) I remove the Curlease, scrunch my hair with the CLU towel to remove water and tighten curl and then diffuse.

My hair LOVES protein. I do at least one PT a week and use it in a lot of my products. My hair never met a protein it didn't like.

Kathymack these are some awesome tips!!! Thank you so much... I also learned about curlease towel which i am currently searching more about it
As i see our hair has a lot of similarities. 3a,low porosity, fine It also reacts the same way to AVG. Maybe it will react the same way in some proteins too.
Do you have any good recommendations on weekly treatments?

I use rich products and moisturizing PTs (CJ Repair Me and possibly SS Repairing Treatment), so don't DT. Most of my favorite products are in my signature.
