It makes sense to me as I've been struggling for ever trying to get moist in my hair, tried everything and my hair is still dry. So if any of you could provide tips, techniques, products I should be using that would be great!

My hair is fine/low porosity. It prefers the more natural products from the online, boutique type companies. I use minute amounts of really rich products. It frequently takes a few hours after my hair is dry for the product to absorb. Generally, my hair gets better as the day goes on.

Don't know if it's a low porosity issue--my hair doesn't like a lot of chemicals. I stay away from many, such as polyquats. Overall, it doesn't like butter/oil alone, but does like it in products. Doesn't like the heavier oils, like castor and mineral--alone or in products.
