Default Another "can you recommend a product" topic...

Well I've just discovered my hair is low porosity and was wondering if anybody can recommend some products for me? I'm trying to take better care of my hair and I'm so tired of it looking like crap... Here is everything I can tell you about my hair:
Low porosity
High density
Coarse
Probably 3a with some 2c thrown in (my bottom-most layer is a lot straighter than the rest of my hair)
Just past shoulder-length

Products that have worked for me in the past: John Frieda Frizz-Ease line, Hello Hydration by Herbal Essences, Curls Rock by Tigi (this is what I currently use), Organix Moroccan Argan Oil shampoo/conditioner

Products I've hated: Finesse (current shampoo/conditioner, I hate it), Aussie products (makes hair stiff), DevaCurl products (it mats my hair and makes it hard... I had high hopes for it), Garnier Fructis products, Totally Twisted by Herbal Essences (made me lose a LOT of hair and made it look very thin)

Any help would be appreciated... I am pretty lost as to what I should be looking for.
