Default Which gels are you liking for your low-porosity waves/curls?

I have medium, low-po, 2a waves. I really like Jessicurl RR but I'm wanting something with a bit more hold. I've tried BRHG in the past and it was nice but a little too much hold and a little filmy. LA Looks was super stcky and filmy. I'm thinking about trying KCCC. The new Jessicurl gel looks interesting too but the quats are putting me off.

My hair doesn't care for the polyquats, either. You may like some of the "jelly" products I have in my signature.

I use the Scrunching Jelly (in my signature) - however I'm aware this isn't entirely CG. I've only just finished transitioning (literally two days ago), so I think I still need to look around for the perfect CG gel. If you're not too worried about that though, I've had great results with the scrunching jelly.

I know a lot of curlies use the Kinky Curly Custard (which is a gel) and I've heard great things. Also the Eco-Styler range has quite a bit of buzz.

I consider the KCCC a "jelly" product--gelatinous consistency without all of the chemicals.

I'd like to find one that doesn't leave my hair crunchy. Do any of you know of one?

I like KCCC but not for hold - I still have to use something else with it for hold. I think most would say that, based on most comments I see. But maybe we're not quite as low porosity as you.

You have to scrunch the crunch once your hair dries

I have gotten crunch-free results from both HETT gel and KCCC.
