Trying to figure out if I'm LP

I "think" I'm LP. My hair takes hours to dry without product and with a LI it would take overnight.

My hair gets buildup quickly and responds TERRIBLY to pure oils. It looks stringy and wet. It won't go away until I wash out the oil.

I never feel like my hair absorbs DTs, it just never feels any different.

Is it possible I'm low porosity?
Yes, that sounds like signs of low porosity to me.

I have low porosity hair and my hair hates oil. Even if I use a drop of it on sopping wet hair and my hair is long, it gets very flat and stringy looking. My hair also takes a very long time to dry. Even in the summers my roots in the back of my head stay wet for hours.

From what you've said it sounds like low porosity hair, so try treating your hair as such and see what happens.

Might be worth getting a hair analysis though, just to be sure
